No, electric cars don’t need oil changes. Unlike gasoline-powered engines that use oil to lubricate the moving parts inside the engine, electric engines are much more efficient with far less moving parts generating friction and therefore no need for oil-based lubrication. Instead, electric engines use a tiny amount of grease to lubricate the bearings.
